What is
Municom?
Welcome to Municom, a municipal intranet designed by the
Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) for Ontario's
municipalities. The Municom Network provides users with one stop
shopping for current and archived information about issues affecting the
municipal sector. Municom brings this information to your computer
desktop and organizes it for you so that you can quickly and easily find
the information when you need it.
Municom is a subscription based website that provides a
one stop search portal for critical media and information/research
materials for issues affecting the municipal sector. Municom is updated
daily, so as the issues change, so does your source for municipal
information!
The Municom service includes such benefits as:
- Comprehensive listings of current provincial, federal,
international, and private sector awards and funding opportunities for
local governments
- A by-law library that is second to none and updated regularly
- Access to daily news media clippings
