The 2011 Community Conservation Awards (CCA) recognizes municipalities for their energy-saving initiatives and for promoting a culture of conservation throughout their communities.

Many Ontario municipalities submitted entries this year and we would like to thank them for their participation in the awards and for their great efforts in energy conservation.

The award highlights efforts in Conservation Leadership, Innovation and Market Transformation, Corporate/Internal and Community Engagement, and Conservation Achievements and savings results.

This year, we are pleased to announce the following nine finalists in each of the population categories:

Again, we thank everyone for their participation and look forward to another successful year. Winners will be announced at the LAS Connections Energy Symposium on December 6.
