Important information on Ontario Reg. 397/11

Ontario Reg. 397/11 requires all BPS organizations to:

  • Report on their annual energy use and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in designated buildings/facilities by July 1; and
  • Develop and implement 5-year energy CDM plans by July 1, 2014.
The regulation was established to help municipalities and other public agencies better understand how and where they use energy, enabling them to develop plans to help them reduce their energy use.
