The AMO Annual Conference is held annually in August. Delegates, both elected and municipal staff, have the opportunity to meet directly with key decision makers and to learn and share information about government initiatives and best practices, the impact of new legislative and policy changes, and address critical issues around fiscal sustainability. 

Along with plenary sessions, there are numerous workshops, and featured speakers with hands-on, practical experience of interest to small rural, medium and urban communities. Private sector and government ministries participate through exhibits showcasing businesses and programs of interest to the municipal sector. Conference delegates have ample opportunity to visit exhibits and network with colleagues.
