AMO’s INTEGRATED WASTE MANAMEGENT STRATEGY
Ontario is facing a waste disposal
crisis, due to population growth, a lack of new landfill capacity, and a
regulatory system that limits innovation.
AMO believes that intelligent and
decisive action is urgently needed to ensure that Ontario
demonstrates leadership with respect to integrated waste management, resource use, and energy
creation. This commitment is vital to
Ontario’s economic strength, successful growth and environmental
protection.
