Returning for a third year the
Connections Energy Symposium examined successful partnerships between
municipalities and energy utilities in Ontario as well as the
interrelationships between energy, economics, and ecology. The Symposium
provided information on new programs, tools, and techniques that will
help municipalities and utilities manage their energy management and
planning needs.
This year’s conference provided an overview of coming
changes to Ontario’s energy regime from the main decision makers.
Afternoon sessions provided examples of programs, projects, and
policies that help maximize the value of existing assets, develop
an Integrated Energy Management regime, and utilize Renewable Energy to
offset energy costs. Our expanded exhibit hall offered
innovative services to reduce energy use, generate income, and achieve
other corporate objectives such as reducing greenhouse gas
emissions.

complimentary shuttle to and from Toronto Pearson International Airport
(runs every 25 minutes)
