The second LAS Connections Conference will be held on October 15, 2010.
This landmark conference will examine new regulatory obligations
mandating municipalities to develop energy and water conservation plans.
Like last year, successful partnerships between municipalities and
energy utilities will be highlighted as will the interrelationships
between energy, economics, and ecology.
The LAS Connections Conference is an annual gathering of officials and
staff from municipalities, utilities, regulators, third party providers
and others active in the energy sector. A wide range of sessions provide
delegates with the opportunity to learn about energy efficiency,
generation, planning, plus initiatives to maximize one’s return on
investment.
Several opportunities exist for
delegates to network and take back to their respective communities new
ideas and solutions. The exhibitor hall is another means of networking
with the exhibitors and other delegates and will feature some exciting
emerging technologies targeting energy efficiency, conservation, and
generation.
Anyone wishing to speak or suggest sessions topics for this year’s
conference are directed to email Scott Vokey at svokey@amo.on.ca while those wishing
