LAS is pleased to be able to partner with Mosey
and Mosey to offer a flexible group benefits
package to elected officials within Ontario. This group benefits program
is available to all Ontario municipal  Councils and provides advantageous Basic Life and Accidental
Death and Dismemberment protection. In addition, Extended Health and
Dental Care plan options are also available for both individuals and
families.
The value of this new LAS program is that we are able to offer a
competitive program to all elected officials (similar to our new program
for municipal staff), while minimizing the administration and overhead
costs related to program delivery. As an added benefit, LAS will also
develop a Benefits User Committee in 2012 that will help to ensure that
this program remains valuable to all users.
