AMO Gas Tax Award

The Gas Tax Award celebrates excellence in the use of the federal Gas Tax Fund.

Whether your municipality is a small rural township of 500 or an urban region 100 times that size, it’s certain that a portion of your infrastructure was built using the federal Gas Tax Fund.

The AMO Gas Tax Project Awards honour municipalities that have demonstrated excellence in the use of the federal Gas Tax Fund (GTF). The Awards showcase infrastructure projects that make a difference in our communities, while achieving the GTF’s objectives. Winners are recognized on stage at the AMO Annual Conference.

Winners are selected by an Awards Selection Committee based on information uploaded to AMO’s Gas Tax reporting module. Throughout the Awards selection process, AMO staff may contact eligible municipalities for more information about a local project.
