AMO's Response to the Proposed Regulatory Changes for the Beneficial Reuse of Excess Soil at Pits and Quarries in Ontario

The Association of Municipalities of Ontario was pleased to have the opportunity to submit AMO’s Response to the Proposed Regulatory Changes for the Beneficial Reuse of Excess Soil at Pits and Quarries in Ontario to the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry in response to ERO posting #019-4801.

 

On April 21, 2022, the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks temporarily suspended the need to comply with the requirements under O. Reg. 406/19: On-Site and Excess Soil Regulation that came into effect on January 1, 2022 until January 1, 2023.
