Don Amos Biography

Don Amos is a municipal leader with extensive experience in local government, community development, and public service. He currently serves as a City Councillor for the City of Kingston, where he has championed initiatives related to housing, economic development, infrastructure, accessibility, and community well-being.

In addition to his municipal leadership, Don serves as Executive Director of the Seniors Association Kingston Region, overseeing programs and services that support thousands of older adults across the region. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority (CRCA), providing governance and oversight on matters related to watershed management, environmental stewardship, conservation, and climate resilience.

Don's experience in municipal governance, community services, and environmental leadership provides him with a well-rounded understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Ontario's municipalities. He is committed to collaboration, practical solutions, and ensuring that municipal voices are heard at the provincial level.
