Dorothy McCabe Biography

Elected on October 24, 2022, Mayor Dorothy McCabe champions a future ready Waterloo — building homes people can afford, improving transit and energizing local prosperity.

She serves as a Region of Waterloo Councillor, is a member of the Ontario Big City Mayors’ Caucus and the National Climate Caucus, is the Chair of the Large Urban Caucus and is on the Executive Committee and Board of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario. She also serves on the ENOVA Power Corporation Board, and the City of Waterloo’s Economic Development Committee.
