Don’t wait until an emergency hits to figure out your response plan. Be ready before it happens.

As a municipally elected leader, your ability to know what to say and do during a crisis can be the difference between calm and chaos.

Join us March 11th & 12th for a two half-day course that will give you the tools frameworks, and confidence to lead your community through an emergency.

Delivered in partnership with the Loomex Group (an emergency management and crisis response firm), this session focuses on practical crisis response strategies for municipally elected officials and public-facing leaders.

You’ll leave with:

  • A clear crisis communications plan that you can apply immediately
  • Strategies to engage with media and the public with confidence
  • Tools to monitor and respond to the public using traditional and social media
  • Practical guidance for preparing spokespeople and organizing press conferences
