Nicole Martin Biography

Nicole Martin currently serves as the AMO Board representative on the Rural Caucus. In this capacity, she brings valuable knowledge of municipal governance and contributes to shaping the priorities and direction of both the AMO Board and the ROMA Board.

As CAO/Clerk, Nicole provides senior administrative leadership to the Township of Amaranth and is responsible to Council for the effective management and administration of municipal operations. She supports the implementation of Council decisions, ensures compliance with applicable municipal legislation and by-laws, and fulfills the statutory and administrative responsibilities of the Clerk’s office. Nicole is committed to supporting transparent governance, sound municipal administration, and responsive service delivery that reflects the needs of the Township and its residents.

Nicole holds a Diploma in Municipal Administration, a CAO Leadership Program certificate, an Executive Municipal Leadership Program certificate, and other professional credentials. She also helps facilitate the Primer on Planning course and is proud to mentor Clerks and CAOs, supporting the continued growth and success of municipal professionals.
